2019 Hyundai Elantra Models

There are six 2019 Hyundai Elantra models to choose from, so there's a little something for everyone. The MSRP ranges from $17,100 - $23,500 with several price points located in between. The base 2019 Hyundai Elantra SE offers a limited feature set including 15-inch steel wheels, power mirrors, air conditioning and a rearview camera.

The next trim up is the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL. This model adds 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, a seven-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration. From there, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition adds keyless entry, push-button start, a sunroof, hands-free trunk release and LED daytime running lights.

Just like the name suggests, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Eco offers a fuel-efficient powertrain and is equipped like the Value trim. It does provide additional USB ports but doesn't feature the sunroof. Then there's the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Limited. This adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic high beams, LED headlights, leather upholstery, auto-dimming rearview mirror and wireless charging pad.

Finally, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport is equipped like the Limited but includes a sunroof, sportier rear suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels.

2019 Hyundai Elantra Performance & Safety

There are three engine options among the 2019 Hyundai Elantra models along with three transmissions to choose from. The only option on the SE, SEL, Value and Limited trim models is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 147 horsepower. In addition, the SE trim comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but you can upgrade to the six-speed automatic if you prefer.

The engine options in the 2019 Hyundai Elantra offers up to 32 mpg city and 40 mpg highway. If you prefer to drive the turbocharged four-cylinder engine located in the Eco or Sport trims, you might find more acceleration and power, but these both come with a seven-speed automatic transmission instead.

As far as technology goes, the Hyundai's Blue Link Connected Car system offers the ability to start your car, lock or unlock the doors, adjust the climate control as well as perform other functions right from the app. In addition, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra offers a host of driver safety aids such as rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, drowsy driver alert system and lane keeping assist.
