Engine, Drive Modes & Performance Specs

The 2020 Hyundai Venue will come powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder motor engine. This pairs perfectly with a six-speed manual transmission or CVT. It does come standard with front-wheel drive and several driving modes (such as a Snow Mode to help accommodate for no AWD option) that make traveling in any weather condition easier.
2020 Hyundai Venue MPG
As of October 2019, there are no EPA fuel economy numbers released for the 2020 Hyundai Venue. Still, the company has released its estimates for the Hyundai Venue mpg claiming 33 combined. That means that the new Hyundai crossover features the same fuel mileage as cars such as the Nissan Kicks, Honda Fit, and the big brother Kona.
Brand New Exterior Design
The 2020 Hyundai Venue has a unique style with a chrome grille, split headlamps, eight color choices, and optional 17-inch wheels. You can even pick from the two-tone Hyundai Venue colors. The first-ever Hyundai Venue measures 158.9" L x 69.7" W with a 99.2-inch wheelbase, making it the smallest SUV on the market, even shorter than the Kia Soul. It stands slightly taller than the Hyundai Kona by half of an inch.
Fresh Interior Design

During the 2020 Hyundai Venue reveal, it was clear that this crossover features an abundance of cargo space; almost as much as the Kona does when the rear seats aren't used. It also comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an eight-inch infotainment system. Some of the optional features include real-time traffic updates with navigation. There are also some advanced driver-assist technologies available, such as automated emergency braking, driver attention monitor, and lane-keeping assist.
2020 Hyundai Venue Vs. Hyundai Kona
While the 2020 Hyundai Venue is smaller than the Kona, it stands slightly taller. The Venue stands wider than the Kona, but the Kona has more length. This gives the Venue exterior dimensions that embrace a look that's more SUV than crossover. Even still, both of these new Hyundai SUVs are close to the same size. The most significant difference is that the Venue costs less than $20,000 (expected to cost around $18,000), while the 2020 Kona will start at $20,100. The new Venue is poised to compete against the Nissan Kicks, Ford EcoSport, and Kia Soul and take the crown as the lowest-priced, most affordable SUV offered in the States.
2020 Hyundai Venue Reviews & Ratings

Consumer Reports claims it is enjoyable to look at, while KBB calls it a "compelling choice for teen drivers." Furthermore, Edmunds states that the new Venue, "packs big value in a tiny package."
